The most common source of Dell Printer Offline problems is communication failure between PC, wireless router and printer over WIFI connection. This results in a change of IP address. There can be three causes of this problem, or a combination of them:

1. To save power, the computer is turning off the wireless adapter.

2. Communication error caused by firewall or anti-virus software.

3. The printer settings are missing network information or the IP address is incorrect.
